Once a month, a small group of founders and owner-managers bring a real challenge each, and leave with honest input from people who have stood where they are. No networking. No pitches. No “so, what do you do?”
We spent this year mining four years of ScaleUp Radio, 305 founder interviews and three million words, for what the founders who scaled actually did. The most consistent People finding in the whole archive: founders crediting mentors, coaches and peer groups as the unlock that changed their trajectory. It came up unprompted across more than 21 episodes.
The evidence goes back further. Owners who work peer-to-peer on a consistent basis outperform those who don’t by at least a factor of two (Dun & Bradstreet). Our own 2021 Scaleup Challenges research named peer working as one of the two things that separate founders who scale from founders who stall.
And the reason is specific. The peer room does not give you more information. You can find information online. It gives you perspective: the blind spot you cannot see from inside your own business, the option you did not know existed, the honest challenge nobody on your payroll will give you.
That is what ScaleUp Club is for.
Each member brings a real challenge they are facing right now. Not a wins reel, a challenge. The room works it: questions first, experience second, advice last. Think peer advisory, not networking.
A guest slot with a ScaleUp Radio founder: someone who has been through the thing the room is wrestling with, telling it straight.
What is actually changing in AI and tools for growing businesses this month. Real applications, real small companies, no hype. The archive shows founders moved from anxiety about AI to building with it in under three years; this is how the room keeps pace.
One theme each month drawn from the four pillars of scaling: Strategy, People, Execution and Cash, grounded in what 305 founders told us actually works, not what the books say should.
Not networking. Nobody is prospecting anybody.
Not a pitch event. No business cards, no elevator speeches.
Not a lecture. The room does the work; the theme starts the conversation.
Not open to everyone. Invitation only, and the room is kept small on purpose.
Founders and owner-managers who take execution seriously. People running real businesses with real teams, ambitious enough to want challenge and honest enough to give it. Members follow the same 90-day rhythm: the Club sits between quarterly G90 Summits, which is exactly why clarity set at the Summit doesn’t fade by week six.
“The calibre of attendees means you can genuinely share ideas and get advice from those who have been there and done it.”
“The ability to engage with likeminded people and talk through common problems, and gain ways in which other businesses and owners have resolved or worked through them.”
That’s deliberate. The room works because everyone in it is running the same rhythm: quarterly Summit, weekly focus, monthly peer session. The Club is the peer layer of a system, not a standalone membership.

Yes. The room only works because it is a safe one. What’s discussed in the Club stays in the Club.
Yes: Smart90 works alongside existing coaching relationships, and several members use it exactly that way. Talk to Kevin about the right configuration.
Networking optimises for meeting people; the Club optimises for solving things. Nobody is there to find clients. Everyone is there to build their business with the help of people doing the same.
Four years of founder evidence points to two things that separate those who scale. Smart90 Guided is built on both, and the Club is where the second one lives.
