Listen to recent episodes →ScaleUp Radio is a business podcast for ambitious owner-managers who want to grow their businesses. We're based in the UK, but our guests come from across the world — wherever there are good stories about scaling worth telling. Across more than 600 episodes, we've sat down with founders who've been through the realities of scaling and shared what they learned along the way, so others coming up behind them have a slightly easier time of it.
The podcast is hosted by Kevin Brent, founder of BizSmart, and grew out of years of working closely with owner-managers on the challenges of moving from a small business to a genuine scale-up. Every conversation is honest, practical and rooted in real experience rather than theory.
It's the kind of show people listen to on the way to work for ideas they can actually use — which makes our guests, and their stories, the heart of it.
Every guest is different, but conversations usually explore:
It's a relaxed chat, not an interrogation — and not an advert. The guests our listeners value most are the ones who speak candidly about the hard parts as well as the wins.
Not every conversation is the right one, and that's fine. Here's an honest look at when this tends to work well — and when it probably doesn't.
And that's okay — it just means the timing isn't right.
We've kept it as straightforward as possible so being a guest doesn't feel like a project.
If it sounds like a good fit, just let me know in your next reply and we'll find a time to record. No forms, no hoops — we'll simply pick things up from here.
