Show notes

Hello I’m Granger Forson or find me on . This time on ScaleUp radio, I speak with Matt Rudman, the owner of Cheltenham Martial Arts.   Cheltenham Martial Arts is a karate and fitness center, based in Cheltenham, helping the community to empower themselves both physically and mentally. Matt has over 17 years’ experience in the industry and bought out the business in 2013 from his sensei.   As always, we cover a lot of ground including:   focusing on your mental development is crucial for business. It’s important to take risks in order to get rewards. Systems and automations are crucial aspects of any business. Empowering your people to learn and grow is key.   What is so illuminating about this conversation with Matt is his focus on confidence and development of his staff, his members, and himself. This has then created a successful business that focuses on the development of the whole physical and mental wellbeing of a person.   I know that you’ll get so much out of this episode.   Matt can be found here:     Resources:   The Chimp Paradox by Professor Steve Peters -   Paths Through The Jungle by Professor Steve Peters -   Pumpkin Plan by Mike Michalowicz -   Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey -   Profit First by Mike Michalowicz -   Unlimited Power by Tony Robbins -   The 12 Week Year by Brian P Moran -   Mindset Explosion podcast -   The Inner Power Podcast -   The Gary Vee Audio Experience -   Scaling up your business isn't easy, and can be a little daunting.
