Welcome to one of our themed episodes of ScaleUp Radio and the theme is around cohesive teams from our ScaleUp Clubs session that we held back in August. Granger looks at some key aspects behind building cohesive and effective teams. We've seen many examples of the power of effective teams. With some businesses, effectiveness of the team becomes a distinct competitive advantage against larger ones. Sometimes this is a real opportunity to differentiate, but conversely, dysfunctional teams can become our biggest headache really quickly.
So as you listen through to the presentation, relate it back to your own experiences of when you may have been part of the very well functioning team, as well as perhaps one that wasn't. Cohesive teams don't just happen overnight, and you need to develop consistent habits within the business and one such habit that we are big proponents of is embedding a 90 day planning rhythm in the business we call that our Smart90 Rhythm.
We also have an excellent guest speaker presentation from Andy Thorne, who is the CEO and founder of Factory Pattern and he looks at three specific things he does within his business that he's found to be very successful, building the right culture as effective and cohesive teams.
