ScaleUp Radio is no stranger to sportsmen. We’ve had former badminton players in the past, and professional footballer - but this is the first former professional rugby player that we’ve had on the podcast.
Kevin Brent is speaking to Nick Baxter, the founder and boss of Baxter Williams, a recruitment business that deals locally, nationally and internationally.
In just 3 years, Nick has managed to scale up the company from working out of his basement to a passionate team of 11.
As you’ll hear Nick is incredibly talkative, which means that there is a lot of ground covered in our conversation.

Of course over the last few episodes we’ve been hearing how the coronavirus lockdown has affected different companies in different ways. It was fascinating to hear how Nick reacted to the lockdown, and the very different direction it took him.
